And you need to have reliable network connectivity (IPv4 is required, IPv6 is recommended) to following hosts over port 443:

If you use machine behind NAT/CGNAT, please keep your external IPv4 address persistent. Even if your machine has no global IPv6 connectivity you must have IPv6 enabled locally as we use it for inter-process interactions.

FastNetMon can work in IPv6 only environment but you have to keep direct connectivity without any kind of address translation.

If you operate ARM64 based infrastructure you can try experimental support for ARM64.

Install steps

Please prepare freshly installed physical server or virtual machine. Then please login with ssh and run following commands:

wget https://install.fastnetmon.com/installer -Oinstaller
sudo chmod +x installer
sudo ./installer

As alternative option you can use our pre-created virtual machine images for variety of hypervisors.

If you prefer to avoid installing MongoDB as configuration database, please add following flag to installer to install FerretDB with SQLite backend instead: -ferretdb.

During this process FastNetMon will assign license to your hardware, please carefully review licensing server guide to understand licensing process better.
