CloudFest 2025 Event Wrap FastNetMon

CloudFest 2025, hosted from March 17-20 at Europa Park in Rust, Germany, brought together over 11,000 cloud industry professionals from across the globe. This year’s event was the largest to date, with an expanded exhibition area to accommodate the growing number of companies eager to showcase their innovations. The atmosphere was buzzing with a sense of community and shared purpose as attendees engaged in discussions shaping the future of the internet and cloud infrastructure.

CloudFest proved to be a productive event for FastNetMon. We found the conference to be a dynamic environment where we had the chance to connect with a diverse range of cloud and DDoS security professionals through both scheduled meetings and spontaneous interactions. The recognition of FastNetMon among attendees was noteworthy, and we were delighted to hear positive experiences and familiarity with our solutions, which facilitated meaningful discussions and the potential for future collaborations.

The event also featured a diverse lineup of keynotes, panels, and workshops, covering topics from web hosting and customer support to sustainability and innovation. Each day had a distinct theme, with discussions on boosting profits, innovation with empathy, and creating solutions with a human touch. Notable speakers included author Cory Doctorow, who addressed the decline in online platform quality, and improv sessions that encouraged spontaneity and creative problem-solving.

Artificial Intelligence was a prominent theme, with discussions on its role in cloud computing and hosting. While some attendees, like Dainius Kavoliūnas from Hostinger Horizons, viewed current AI applications as incremental improvements, there was a strong focus on AI-driven software creation. This innovation is seen as a potential disruptor, enabling individuals to build web apps using natural language prompts.

Beyond the conference halls, CloudFest embraced a “work hard, play hard” mentality, offering attendees the chance to unwind at themed social events and explore Europa Park’s attractions. The event fostered meaningful conversations, not just at booths but throughout the venue and during informal gatherings.

As CloudFest 2025 wrapped up, it left attendees with a wealth of insights and connections. The discussions on AI, cloud infrastructure, and the evolving landscape of the industry will undoubtedly continue to resonate, setting the stage for next year’s event. For FastNetMon, the event was an opportunity to engage with the community and explore new avenues for collaboration and growth in the ever-evolving world of cloud and network security. We are looking forward to attending the conference next year!
