FastNetMon Advanced now supports sending attack notifications directly to PagerDuty, enabling organisations to route DDoS detection events into their existing incident response workflows.
Teams using PagerDuty for on-call management and escalation can now receive FastNetMon alerts as structured incidents, allowing network attacks to be handled through standard operational processes.
Incident-driven DDoS response
FastNetMon detects abnormal traffic patterns and attack activity in real time. With PagerDuty integration enabled, detection events can automatically generate incidents and follow configured escalation policies without additional tooling or manual intervention.
This allows network security events to integrate directly into NOC and SRE workflows alongside other infrastructure alerts.
How it works
The integration connects FastNetMon’s notification system with PagerDuty’s Events API. When an attack is detected, FastNetMon sends structured event data, which PagerDuty converts into incidents and routes according to existing escalation rules.

Key capabilities
- Automatic incident creation from FastNetMon detection events
- Configurable event severity
- Alert deduplication with optional IP or hostgroup grouping
- Structured event delivery via PagerDuty Events API
- Integration through FastNetMon JSON notification callbacks
