FastNetMon becomes a Code Protector of OpenSSL Foundation

FastNetMon

February 27, 2026

We’re pleased to share that FastNetMon is now officially a Code Protector supporter of OpenSSL, as published by the OpenSSL Foundation.

This reflects our commitment to strong cryptography and to supporting the open-source projects that form the foundation of secure internet communications.

Why we support OpenSSL

OpenSSL is one of the most widely used open-source implementations of TLS and cryptographic algorithms. It is integrated into operating systems, servers, networking software, and countless applications that require secure data transmission.

Secure communication depends on correctly implemented and actively maintained cryptographic libraries. Open-source projects like OpenSSL provide transparency, peer review, and broad industry adoption — all of which are important characteristics for trusted security components.

As a company operating in the network security space, we recognise the importance of well-established cryptographic standards and mature implementations. Supporting OpenSSL at the Code Protector level is a practical way to contribute to the long-term sustainability of a project that underpins secure communications worldwide.

Backing critical internet infrastructure

Strong encryption and secure protocols are essential building blocks of modern infrastructure. Organisations across industries rely on TLS and related cryptographic mechanisms to protect sensitive data in transit.

By supporting OpenSSL, we are reinforcing our commitment to trusted, standards-based security technologies and to the broader open-source ecosystem that helps maintain them.

Security is a shared responsibility. We are proud to contribute to the continued development of OpenSSL and to stand alongside other organisations that support its mission.
